ANNOUNCING

The New Jersey Hispanic Impact 100

Our Community. Our Story. Our Impact.

The inaugural list will be published in 2027.

ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

Identifying and Celebrating Hispanic and Latino Leaders

The Modesto Educational Foundation is announcing the New Jersey Hispanic Impact 100, a new recognition initiative created to identify and document Hispanic and Latino leaders whose work produces meaningful, lasting impact across New Jersey.

This announcement introduces the initiative and the standards that will guide it. No honorees are being named at this time. The first New Jersey Hispanic Impact 100 will be published in 2027.

A Recognition That Cannot Be Bought

The New Jersey Hispanic Impact 100 is not a fundraiser, advertising program, sponsorship package, or pay-to-play recognition. Placement cannot be purchased.

There will be no nomination or application fee. Donations, advertising, sponsorships, political connections, and personal relationships will not determine selection.

The Process

A Transparent, Methodology-Driven Process

The New Jersey Hispanic Impact 100 will follow a documented evaluation process, with published methodology, eligibility requirements, and evaluation criteria.

100-Point Framework

Candidates will be assessed through a documented 100-point framework focused on impact, service, leadership, legacy, and representation.

Advisory Council

An Advisory Council will be publicly identified, with conflict-of-interest and recusal standards.

Published Criteria

The methodology, eligibility requirements, and evaluation criteria will be published.

Ineligible for Recognition

Advisory Council members will be ineligible for recognition while serving.

Elected Officials

Currently serving elected officials will not be eligible.

Not a Ranked List

Honorees will be presented as a group, not ranked from one through 100.

What The Initiative Will Recognize

Leaders Across Many Fields

The initiative will recognize established and emerging leaders in business, nonprofit service, education, finance, healthcare, media, arts and culture, law, technology, philanthropy, community development, and other fields.

Public visibility alone will not substitute for documented impact, and prior recognition will not disqualify a deserving candidate.

Ownership And Media Partnership

Created to Inform and Inspire

The New Jersey Hispanic Impact 100 was created by Carlos Medina and will be published by the Modesto Educational Foundation.

Negocios Hispanos, led by publisher Any Oliva, will serve as a principal Spanish-language media partner in helping share the initiative with the broader community.

Recognition is earned, not purchased.

The 2027 inaugural edition will be guided by published criteria, documented evidence, and a commitment to community trust.
